Lexington

As our Irmo location continued to grow and serve more families, we saw an opportunity to expand our reach. In 2011, we opened our Lexington location, allowing us to welcome even more children and families into our childcare community. Built on the same foundation of faith, love, and dedication that began our journey, our Lexington center continues to grow and serve families each day.

We are thankful for the families who have placed their trust in us and for the opportunity to be part of so many children’s early years. As we continue to grow each day, we remain dedicated to providing exceptional care and creating a place where children feel loved, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Rosemary Esquivel

Director

Hi, my name is Rosemary. I have proudly been a part of our center for the past 15 years. During that time, I have had the privilege of building lasting relationships with our children, families, and dedicated staff. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels valued and supported as they learn and grow. I believe strong communication with families and a caring, dedicated team are the foundation of a successful early childhood program. Watching children reach new milestones and helping families through each stage of development is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

Infant room

Our infant classroom  provides a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where each child's individual needs are met every day. Teachers take the time to build trusting relationships with each baby by learning their unique personality, routines, likes, and dislikes, ensuring they receive personalized care and attention. Through tummy time, sensory exploration, music, story time, and age-appropriate play, infants develop early cognitive, language, fine motor, and gross motor skills. We create a warm, responsive environment that encourages exploration, supports developmental milestones, and helps every infant feel secure, valued, and loved.

Our young toddler classroom (12–18 months) provides a safe, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow at their own pace. Through sensory play, music, art, story time, and hands-on activities, toddlers develop early language, cognitive, fine motor, and gross motor skills. Teachers build strong relationships with each child while encouraging curiosity, confidence, and the development of early self-help skills in a caring and supportive setting.

Our older toddler classroom (18–24 months) offers engaging, hands-on learning experiences that support children's growing independence and curiosity. Daily enrichment activities include art, music, sensory exploration, story time, and basic American Sign Language (ASL) to strengthen communication and language development. Gross motor skills are enhanced through active indoor and outdoor play, while teachers encourage independence by helping children practice self-help skills, make simple choices, follow routines, and build confidence as they continue to learn and grow.

The Bears classroom is a warm, engaging space where toddlers learn through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Children enjoy art, music, sensory activities, story time, early literacy and math, and basic American Sign Language (ASL) to support communication.

Through indoor and outdoor play, children build gross and fine motor skills while developing social-emotional skills and growing independence. We encourage children to make choices, follow routines, practice self-help skills, and build confidence as they prepare for their next stage of learning.

Our older three-year-old classroom builds on children's developing skills by providing engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that prepare them for Pre-Kindergarten. Through hands-on activities, children expand their knowledge of letters, numbers, shapes, colors, science, and early problem-solving while participating in art, music, sensory activities, and outdoor play. Teachers encourage critical thinking, communication, and teamwork while fostering independence through daily routines, self-help skills, and classroom responsibilities. Our goal is to help each child develop the confidence, social skills, and academic foundation needed for continued success.

Our Pre-Kindergarten classroom provides a stimulating and engaging learning environment designed to prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten. Through hands-on learning, structured lessons, and purposeful play, children build strong foundations in early literacy, mathematics, and science. Daily enrichment activities, including art, music, sensory exploration, and outdoor play, encourage creativity, critical thinking, and physical development. We promote independence, problem-solving, and responsibility by encouraging children to make choices, complete tasks, work collaboratively with peers, and develop the confidence and social-emotional skills needed for future academic success.
